Founded in 2022, Orenda Group Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage Inc. (Orenda Brokers) operates in the fields of reinsurance and non-life insurance.
 
In addition to traditional reinsurance solutions, Orenda Brokers provides need-based, value-driven services to its clients through its innovative approach and expert insight, tailored to the evolving and dynamic market conditions.
 
With its expertise in reinsurance brokerage and access to global markets, Orenda Brokers supplies capacity to the local sector, strengthens the reinsurance structures of insurance companies through long-term partnerships, and supports their operations.
 
It also provides consultancy throughout the entire process to ensure that the insurance needs of both individual and corporate clients are met in the most efficient way possible.

Mr. Fahri Altıngöz
Founding Partner
Chairman of the Board of Directors and
General Manager

Mr. Fahri Altıngöz has nearly 40 years of professional experience in the insurance sector. He has held executive positions in reinsurance, technical operations, claims, legal affairs, underwriting, and sales.

He served as the founding General Manager of TEB Sigorta A.Ş. (Zurich Insurance) and as Deputy General Manager at Aksigorta A.Ş., overseeing reinsurance, sales, technical operations, underwriting, and claims.

For almost 30 years, he taught as a lecturer at Istanbul University and Marmara University, contributed as an instructor at TSEV (Turkish Insurance Institute Foundation), and played a significant role in training many young professionals for the sector.

Mr. Fahri Altıngöz has provided consultancy services to insurance companies and led the Insurance Working Groups of TÜSİAD and YASED.

He has served as a Board Member of the Insurance, Reinsurance, and Pension Companies Association of Turkey and as a member of its Non-Life Insurance Committee.

Mr. Fahri Altıngöz currently serves as the President of the Association of Insurance Practitioners.

Ms. Gökçe Altıngöz
Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors

Ms. Gökçe Altıngöz has 25 years of professional experience in the banking sector. During her banking career, she worked at TEB A.Ş. (BNP Paribas Turkey) as an Auditor and Deputy Head of the Internal Audit Board, overseeing audits of the bank’s branch and head office functions, as well as its subsidiaries in Turkey, the Netherlands, Kosovo, and Northern Cyprus.

Ms. Gökçe Altıngöz also managed audits in leasing, factoring, insurance, and portfolio management. She possesses extensive expertise in banking regulations, risk management, internal control, and compliance across Turkey and Europe.

Throughout her career, she played an active role in mergers, acquisitions, and liquidation processes of TEB A.Ş. and its subsidiaries, and chaired various working groups.

In the insurance and reinsurance sector, she contributed to the establishment of Orenda Group Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage Inc.

Since 2022, Ms. Gökçe Altıngöz has been serving as Co-Founder and Vice Chairwoman of the Board, responsible for defining the company’s product strategy and risk appetite—particularly in financial insurance—while overseeing sustainability, product development, and client relations. She also manages all operational and compliance processes of the company.

Our Goal

Orenda Brokers was founded to provide client-focused and solution-oriented brokerage services in non-life insurance and reinsurance, with the aim of:

- reaching new customers by developing innovative products,
- offering reinsurance solutions that go beyond conventional methods, including comprehensive “plug-and-play” solutions covering end-to-end processes.
